The fundamental points of our mission are:
- The “Science for Peace.Eu" Foundation is a scientific model based on maieutics, and, for this reason, open to all creative and supportive energies that fight against the disease of power in order to change all together the amorality - based on opportunism and indifference - into a truly physiological, collective Moral Self extended to all humanity. Our scientific research aims to identify the tools and formulate projects to achieve true and lasting peace in the world and improve relations between peoples and continents.
We aim to promote global thinking and scientific research to develop a resilient, optimistic and confident vision of the world and biological life both in the present and in the future of new generations which make the genetic heritage of humanity immortal and fight the Moral Insanity of political power that has always legislated on biological nature by dehumanizing people's lives.
- The "Science for Peace.Eu" Foundation aims to implement a great project that engages everyone in constant work. Our intention is to prepare young people in supporting the richness of diversity among men and the biodiversity of the planet, and facing with altruism and optimism the great social issues of our time which are anthropocentrism, moral disengagement, selfishness, indifference, and above all, fighting against the four horsemen of the Apocalypse of the globalized world:
- Pandemics for which we are now also carrying out a very up-to-date research on the linkage between Global Warming, pollution and the Covid-19 pandemic.
- Poverty that every year kills a fifth of the world's population through hunger and that generates migration and wars: our pioneering research has scientifically demonstrated that poverty has no genetic cause but is due to social discrimination that slows down the development of the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex where the Moral Agency (our concepts of "good family man" and "good politics" that pursues the Common Good) is based. Poverty is treatable with humanitarian policies and education in respect for the environment and biodiversity, because the living planet (Gaia) is the only home that mankind can inhabit, and its resources are not inexhaustible.
- Racism which is the tragic prejudice of power and opposes the evolution of the human species, bringing with it inhumanity that is both a violation of civil rights and a lack of generosity and empathy of man towards his fellow man.
- Corruption, the current pandemic of moral and civil disintegration, which in the name of the "god of money", generates social conflicts and wars.
The “Science for Peace.Eu” Foundation aims to take care of people's health which is our immune system (the "vis medicatrix naturae" for Hippocrates) but also of Gaia's health recovering the harmony between Man and Nature through the study of the physiology of both, which are very similar to each other, and the commitment against Global Warming. Despite the serious global crises, our Foundation has an optimistic viewpoint, because day after day we study the resilience of the physical and moral immune system, as the main resource capable of forging eco-sustainable lifestyles. Our intent is to guide billions of people towards social justice, friendship, solidarity through the awareness of their biological and immune potential.
It is therefore necessary to study the meanings of life through the lenses of the immune system, whose essential functions are evolution and survival, to achieve a balance in the continuous search for homeostasis and bio-psycho-social health as also the World Health Organization argues.
Our optimism is not a utopian philosophical vision but it is based on an Italian scientific research - unique in the world – which regards the Tau't Bato, a tribe in the Philippines, which consists of several hundred of human beings not contaminated by our civilization who do not know violence, nor the power, but welcomes the stranger as a friend and has, in the name of the common good, an equitable distribution of the necessary resources (see the attached video).
- The “Science for Peace.Eu” Foundation also follows the Global thought (which is the inseparable intertwining between the individual, social and biological sphere) and the universal identity which is the sharing of human beings with all other living species, including Mother Earth, to achieve the best quality of life because we are all part of a greater biological balance.
- Our Foundation aims to promote education and to activate training courses on all bio-psycho-social sectors (WHO) to study the state of health of the biosphere, ecosystems, various habitats and the Biodiversity with its variety of living beings that populate the Earth, measuring genes, species, populations. Life depends on the biodiversity of plants, animals, humus and the human microbiota. Biodiversity therefore guarantees the richness and health of life on Earth and, for this reason, it is our specific duty to protect it, preserving the environment and its potential. What we do now will determine the future of human civilization. The loss of biodiversity constitutes one of the greatest emergencies with an estimated total cost of 10% of world GDP, in addition to a very high cost in human lives.
- Our Foundation also aims to stimulate the international scientific community to engage in information, prevention and treatment of the most important disease, that is, the acquired immunodeficiency of the immune system, in order to achieve environmentally sustainable results in safeguarding the global health. Survival as individuals and as a species depends on the collaboration of the immune system with microbiota and on the immune system being at peace with Mother Nature. We aim to study in depth the connection between the body of Gaia and the human one because all the biological functions of Gaia are the same as those of the human body.
Finally, we warn that every human being needs about two hectares of earth's surface, called biocapacity, to produce food, energy and waste purification. In Italy, sustainable biocapacity has been exceeded and we are consuming that of future generations. Economists and politicians find it hard to realize that by consuming, cementing, exploiting and wasting resources, we are facing apocalyptic climatic tragedies, which although widely announced, continue to be underestimated. As Gandhi said "There are enough resources to satisfy the according to experts needs of every man, but not the greed of a few men": this is the banality of the evil we are doing to Gaia.
Gaia arrived at the emergency room in red code and it is up to all of us to collaborate to save her, committing ourselves to containing the increase in world temperature within two degrees Celsius, a threshold beyond which Global Warming would be devastating for human activities. According to experts, an increase in temperature of 2 ° centigrade would determine irreversible environmental, social and economic consequences. Global Warming directly or indirectly affects decisive factors for human health. Air and water are polluted, food is toxic for the use chemical fertilizers and animals are fed with foods produced with chemistry and treated with hormones and antibiotics that induce antibiotic resistance and acquired immunodeficiency in men; for this reason scientists foresee a resurgence of viral diseases, allergies and infectious or parasitic diseases in the near future.
Neither the G20s nor especially the United Nations conferences on climate change have managed to unanimously decide to respect the deadlines for reducing greenhouse gas emissions to keep global warming within the limit of 1.5 degrees. Indeed, in a deafening bla bla bla, which corresponds to a real failure, it was agreed not to eliminate but only generically to "reduce" the use of coal and financing for fossil fuels, postponing the solution of the problem to 2050 and beyond, disastrously moving away from the crucial goal "while governments around the world are even accelerating the crisis, continuing to spend billions on fossil fuels" (Greta Thunberg).
For this reason our "Science for Peace.Eu" Foundation, to achieve a responsible unanimity, proposes a simple but very effective organization: a G7 made up of delegates from all 7 Continents, mainly women, really committed, for the good of the Planet in the global titanic struggle to cure the relationship between Global Warming, immunodeficiency and pandemic in all its variants.
Our Foundation also welcomes the teaching of Biophilia, which is love for life, for nature and for all that is alive. Biophilia also concerns the human need to have relationships with other living beings and has to do with the world of our emotions: the reality of nature is a complex and delicate world but when we manage to grasp its innate harmony, what is activated in neuroscientific terms, it is called "biophilic instinct", which contains in itself a regenerative power also of the human psyche.
Our Foundation intends to commit itself, also to a true green renewal which consists of a great transformation of the economy to address both the two great world crises: inequalities and climate change.
Our Green New Deal would like to mobilize vast public resources in the transition from an economy built on the exploitation of fossil fuels to an economy driven by the dignity of work and clean energy.
The objectives are therefore to create a sustainable environment based on community climate resilience, to ensure universal access to clean water and healthy food, to promote healthy agricultural practices that increase soil health.
Other objectives are to increase reforestation and the healthiness of agricultural land, recognizing the professionalism of farmers; promote the international exchange of technologies and skills and provide farmers with high-quality botanical education.
The loss in humanity causes human societies to navigate towards entropy and chaotic instability, towards an involutionary world order of the same biological nature.
The antidote is to recover harmony with nature and a humanity that we like to call "People for Planet".
Considering that our first cervical vertebrae is called atlas, ethical anthropocentrism can be represented with the image of Atlas carrying the planet on his shoulders to indicate the effort that each of us does not yet make, but could do, to try to save Gaia.
In our opinion, true global renewal also requires large investments in research and development of green technology and in providing the training necessary for job creation in the new green economy, introducing a limit on the consumption of resources, and preventing finance and big companies make huge profits from the destruction of nature.
Fortunately, humanity is also experiencing a great awakening whereby we are starting to reflect on our destiny as inhabitants of a common biosphere and to rediscover the desire to empathize with all the creatures with whom we share an evolutionary legacy. We owe all this above all to many very motivated, determined and rightly angry young people, who want the democratization of green energy and who have resumed protesting against the inertia of governments in the face of climate change.
We need to create a community that is committed to combating systemic injustices and restoring and protecting threatened ecosystems, through scientific projects, because science saves those who believe in it, and every government and ministry should believe in science, because science extends life.
Our Foundation would like to share with the whole scientific community and with all people interested in getting involved, the great collective project of forming, through our courses, the true citizens of the world, capable of activating and training their psychological, emotional and social brains. , cultural and moral: free men and women because they are in contact with cooperative altruism, engaged in the peaceful search for equitable and sustainable development and in policies of sharing and respect for dignity, which are the social values that give meaning to life.
In the perspective of our Foundation, universal identity is the sharing of human beings with all other living species, including Mother Earth, to pursue the best quality of life and to be able to make the best use of "natural, social and human capital. "(J. Pretty).
Following this perspective, today we can summarize the sacredness of life in the three values of the environment, work and human rights.
Crucial to preserving ecological life is love for Gaia, respect for human rights, social justice, the richness of diversity as well as access to water, food, health, education, decent work and the satisfaction of basic needs, because true democracy is that which protects all forms of life. Rights and dignity are our commitment and have no political color, but they create that wonderful rainbow of colors which is a symbol of peace and brotherhood. It is for this reason that we welcome with joy the exhortation of Pope Francis that it is evil not only to do Evil, but also not to do Good.
